BTOES Insights Question: Briefly describe your job role in your organization, and what your top priorities are right now?
Larry Answer:
I am the founder and president of New Horizons Advisors. Currently my top priority is supporting leaders to understand where their organization really is today after two years of disruption and reinvention on the fly and where they want and need to go. It’s time to assess how business process have changed, what technologies have been deployed and which need to be kept, disbanded and replaced. Efforts need to be coordinated not simply pushed down to the grass roots level where different parts of the organization don’t know what each other is doing.
BTOES Insights Question: What do you expect to be the most critical initiatives you (or your clients) need to focus on over the next 12 months?
Larry Answer:
Now that we’ve had a crash course on disrupting business processes and the evolution technology it’s time for business leaders to pivot their focus away from the immediacy of the pandemic to what’s next. The next 12 months are a time to create a shared vision of a new future for how the business operates and meets the needs of all of its stakeholders from customers to employees and to the boardroom.

BTOES Insights Question: What do you see as the biggest trends affecting your organization (or your clients) over the next 12 to 18 months?
Larry Answer:
The Covid-19 Pandemic has disrupted and changed everything about how we work. Business processes have had to be scrapped and reinvented on the fly. But are these new business process what are really needed for success in the near and long term? I am helping leaders envision the future they will face and create the business processes and tools that will help them be agile and successful.
