Workforce demographics are shifting global markets with diversity of talents and individuals front and center.  Diversity of minds and talents brings together better innovative approaches necessitating tolerance and an ease of the work – life balance.

Embracing change in the form of diverse workforces and skills sometimes can become a challenge to the employer and the employee witnessing these feats.  Mutual respect and tolerance will be the cornerstone of supporting the “DID”. Perceived past idyllic work atmospheres may be difficult to achieve, but employees nevertheless recognize that with diversity comes novel ideas brought to the workplace to achieve overall organization growth and success.

Supporting “DID” in Leadership: Diversity, Innovation, and Disruption

Additionally, avoiding any marginalization of employees is paramount with a zero tolerance to racism, ageism and discrimination against people with any types of disabilities. Not only is this discrimination unethical and illegal, it also has serious economic consequences if not irradiated. This presentation will provide ideas with which to support the “DID” in the work environment to ensure everyone is represented – heard and a contributor to the overall good of an organization.

Overall, unrecognized talents if not used, create not only financial voids in an organization but social ones as well.  The “DID” aims to bring and unite individuals under a common cause to use their talents to their fullest potentials in society.
