Jean M. Younger, J.D., CPCU,
VP, Chief Digital Officer and Six Sigma Leader
Security Benefit

Jean’s varied career (chemist, computer programmer, patent attorney, product development, business leader, GE Master Black Belt, Six Sigma Leader and now Chief Digital Officer and Six Sigma Leader) clearly illustrates her belief that accepting and leading change is the most important business credential for both your personal career and the company for which you work.  Throughout her 20+ years in the insurance industry, she has led the evolution from snail mail/manual processes to full digital capabilities.   In her role as the Six Sigma Leader for Security Benefit, she identified early in the RPA life cycle its benefits and how it could help speed up the automation journey both economically and efficiently.  Through the utilization of both Six Sigma and RPA skillsets, her teams are transforming processes throughout the business from operations to marketing to finance to HR and everything else in between based on a consummate “wing to wing” philosophy.   Meaning, don’t just automate one small piece of the process, automate the whole process.

Through Jean’s leadership, Security Benefit was an early purchaser of RPA technology and one of the first customers on the UIPath RPA Cloud in the U.S.   Her team has been a constant member of Preview sessions, including Cloud, Insights, Studio X and Task Manager.   Jean believes that finding the next best tool in the UIPath toolset leads to an even better customer experience and RPA ROI.

Security Benefit is a leader in the U.S. retirement market with $41.1 billion in assets under management and a focused, effective, and strategically driven distribution structure
