Session Transcript:

Our first speaker, Ramesh Wire, he's a season Enterprise architect and has play various roles as a Business App, business application and data architect. He's built roadmaps, app rationalization, modernize apps, and today, he's the Head of Digital Automation and Enterprise Architecture and a fire. He has created a concept, a value driven, intelligent automation that starts with enterprise architecture.

Data, automation and cybersecurity is inactive speaker and blogger on digital transformation, Enterprise Architecture, o.k.r.s, and anything related to inter-galactic automation, also known as removing the hype, hyper automation.

He runs the third largest automation group, known as the DSW RPA, and a monthly podcast known as Next Generation Enterprise in Alliance with the CTO Academy, which is focused on grooming future leaders. .... What a pleasure to have you with us. Very much looking forward to your presentation.

It's an absolute pleasure for me and my audiences.

Likewise, I really liked to the conversations, and what's actually interesting, because you're talking about automation, It's a perfect time.

Was it like a startup?

Yeah. Go ahead.

Go ahead and launch your presentation, because right now, you're in the Preview mode on PowerPoint, OK. You can see.

We can see, but we can see the previous slides. So go ahead and launch in the PowerPoint to make sure I'm Presentation mode in PowerPoint. There you go.

Screenshot (29)-2Right on you. Your first slide is loading. It seems to have some sort of animation on it. Is that correct?

Yeah. So looks good.

All right.

Welcome, everyone.

So, yeah. We're going to talk of devices with what we're talking with, a mission to protect that. There you go.

So, no, oh, I hope people who don't know I take my prohibition passed away, but also make it needed.

No.

We will be reading this book That's one of the axis, the DNA opening roadmaps.

I really love what I mean.

However, you know, unfortunately, acevedo, boats aye.

The Boston: Yeah, yeah, know, the thing is, you know, many companies were not prepared.

What would that mean to us?

That's the reality that gave observation.

I experienced this back to the phone company.

in the plus three remarks, because it was probably all I got.

What does that speak to? What we, ...

means that experience and experience customer program, it's self audit.

Back in the name of this transformation, we get distracted.

I need you, there. But, that was what happened.

And then, now, the fifth floor of an Epic proportions and open bracket is which Yeah, like. Oh, what does for transformation that's happening currently has happened? So, that's a good question, but, be the big question.

It stays in the focus to transformation, and That's what I call it every day.

Btog CTAThat means that the number of it, but basically WI, then the picture to the left effects that no, because that's obviously going up and down the hill the slope There.

Yeah, I guess so far more benefit stagnation.

So, I would actually go through the bottlenecks in VISTA products with the rest of transformation, can see here. All right now, because that's all. I don't know.

You might find it funny.

But, actually, we're updating laws.

So, Peter Drucker famous statement, that's an exit strategy for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, that's X two.

Just the transformation in my experience, both people converse and take care of your customers. Margaret.

What has happened?

It's a different bet. No. process, no.

Fortunately, fortunately, no.

Hi. Thanks.

More than three, yeah.

The business process, but never ended up at the water cooler.

Business processes capabilities that it was just, it wasn't with this, you know, How many of you know when, do at all?

Yeah, you know, in order to move into This is Africa's population.

Then we did a picture of the worst that fixes everybody.

Yeah. So we have this up yet.

No.

What will you stop there?

But if you stop the video there, you know, the formal syndrome syndrome. So, you could go past this semi object.

Then we don't get to this explanation if we get that data.

No!

No company focused on mission data, it's not understand it, people are not there before magnetize.

Cognitive issues. For us.

Then this type then, people first, because if your people are motivated, happens when we first go epicenters of this Assets.

Good question.

So if your data is, then I know it is not giving you. the information is not as if your data is.

And actually, Labor Commissioner's Office, you're like, oh.

yeah, Because it gets less so.

you'll have this fully independent, OK.

An organization, every organization pays to be the Netflix or the lives of the book.

Better yet, a spot for us.

No, that's not a condition. Again, it's an allegation that takes place. So without understanding that, there.

Then, finally, so when we do, we understand the basics, But they do this system efficiency of the processes.

And the technology is, every system, as we just say, yes or no, is what we do. So, that became the foundation of permission.

It's saying, if the strongest make as big as the weakest.

Right, so, the best possible, and these are that it makes them.

So the most part for me. I know, that the media with the cybersecurity media tax.

You know, with Facebook's and whatnot.

Things like, you know, in the twenties or something, Internet of Things as well, know, it looks at us mobile, or even, I remember, when we say pick it up, but that can take.

And, you know, it's the last year alone.

There has been an unprecedented, stepwise process.

The fact that, they know somebody, might make it possible to walk.

So, you know, all these technology things, deceptive that is good. But, yeah, I mean, this is something that will happen.

So, in the interest of, it's the last people looking at, what I've heard, something even know, if we can't live without them, In fact, be earlier. But what does it mean to us?

And then, ultimately, like I said at the very beginning, it was no longer the British the way it used to be used. To use it. Now, it's all, you have to watch any of the Amazon offers.

If I Almost all the experiences online, purchase Lastest, let me. Just go online.

So, the whole process has shifted, the business models have shifted like this not shifted.

That's the problem that we have.

So, acknowledge that.

What I've seen is, I know V as an Arctic.

We got the Storm department to support a revert back with JSON.

The problem, what I've seen, is, we are.

Maybe, the type of the strategy, We connect to the enterprise architecture that we're all.

On the condition caused by the myth the hub, is the, I didn't say it is B, but here it back out with the, actually, the operations, the share. That video.

From the best, they think we're good at, and adequate the Roadmap.

They can buy, There's a very good school.

You put in front of the mirror, and it's a step, like, you're going to give up, people have Chase, Chase yesterday, and this map is not per page, So.

Copy of Email Graphic Virtual Conferences (3)You have to wait another time, assets and obtained by Margaret ..., my experience is perfect, but not real.

This is the gap.

You know, that has been bigger. And then, this is the data we have.

I ask my claim that since we are talking about.

I packed my picture, if you see here, you know, you would have seen this picture on Google.

Yes, just a note.

Let's have base, and this concept that has worked from biology.

So the focus has been real time.

This took a presentation of the fiscal path.

May be that I have a life everything, extra capital X two IOT fast Storage tanks.

It has become so extremely fertile?

So, I'll give you an example of the pre history.

and I've come back to this one before the PI and, you know, if you're hearing officers at range.

Seeing, you know, G I N G, at the most of this.

If you pick the types are, you know, the vendors are, degenerate says, No, they used to simulate random access based models are traditionally used to build a model of technology at ....

It's a modification of expedient.

What's that module that's big data used to? Play it for some reason.

So that data can notice it has a before and after that and then analyze act.

Been subsequently fine.

I know we all.

Not being by virtue of being real time and then the storage models, but I actually asked me not to prove this.

The industry where data, you know all the way from cyber security, reading it not the day before yesterday by the US it's actually jumping 60. It means involving what connections per kilometer and million or So?

Everything We know of it started moving, basically. Being rapidly available, we can collect real-time data real time.

So, by doing this, you can then live better.

So, if you see to the left, I think the.

Richest, So the transformation that we have been talking, we need to focus on how our security, as part of this commission, it wasn't a budget narrative.

To the right, you see that data and metadata. Yeah.

BI, for us.

Process my, so the whole concept of process might be actually. So to give an idea of what a process plan, yes, no, but I started this journey.

What has to be either just started off in, OK, access opportunities for me, just to see something like what am I upgrade my Y intercept is good enough as a whole people in the end. So.

I could look at the novelty, the best channel.

Know, we all go up to songs When we look at the top this office, you know, that, it exists, and then they say, You know, Give us a call.

If you have a very bad, Let's stop.

Thank you.

You reduce your intake of a foot and going. So, if you see here, just to feel having effects is basically what I've noticed.

And based on your attic or the doctor, say, most likely, at predicted.

Victory, let us was the reason why.

It happened, between the East, I was, OK, I'll be your best.

When your class, what happens is, you get nine, and then they put your hand up.

What does the light, but this is a picture of it.

And then they see this market and then immediately want to say, oh, you got to have a surgery like this.

So the same thing being applied for a neck brace.

And this is where S So using the principles of good that, the industry, export it, and use it that way, what's going to adopt it?

The diagnostic and the analytics, which is basically making up in a protection for your systems. And understanding real-time what is happening.

You'll know what's happening now.

You may come up with a switch, what do you mean by disturbing when we are already just because we still voted it just distance.

We have our processes into systems.

Like I said, the gap is, none of them just yet, Then, we use AI. You should say, it's an example of a class or something like, you're saying this is whatever. Maybe, the efficiency.

But, in order to reduce the efficiency, then you have a guess, you can keep improving your district.

So, automation of these big data analytics process gives you a real time system, right.

In the world of analytics, are in the world of mining process planning.

But, my book leaf of a process.

So, this is what it is to write this.

So, quickly speaking, you know, what obstacles?

So, the first thing is, you know, likely the system, We collect, it, will just note, if I click ..., process, my lead, if you have done a lot of add some ..., know, you will understand often mediated by switching to systems with the three primary ethnic groups and most of them are not.

What's the benefit, The first thing I wanted to ask you if I remember: this process.

The first thing, what the central discusses, it hasn't been possible.

Then you get the lights.

You can find out what is happening, Then, you know, you have to So by looking at that, you know, how often of a business process, you can simply watch and then, you know, you like it, do you put that on and then your argument.

Screenshot (4)The process might be actually.

A little bit cool, it built up high-tech process my muscles and tendons in the industry.

You know, when we were implementing the systems, British identity would be permitted in the ecosystem, We used to be able to use the word, yeah.

If don't make sure that your processes are defined efficiently and onwards yet.

But, if we customize, yeah.

I trust any company, you know, there's no company, single company and the result of symbolization be what we call as M plus del R I minus summation of E to the bottom.

No audio systems, Where do we start?

Because we have completely customized, yeah.

So, again, you know, understanding the process does not understand the process is to find efficiencies. Maybe the process to be optimized for process can be read only then you want to automate.

Automate, unfortunately, has taken a very long definition in my view, automation.

Yeah, should be API automation, you use the right tool for the right.

This is ..., automation, this app, and refactoring don't document for the sake of automation.

Use it when it Mitch landrieu, and you have no other option.

Basically, I'll show you actually a picture of how it goes.

So if you see her, we had VPN, but just seek a very clean needles speak and it ended up right.

This process is intelligent, this is a classic example of a big bet with government matter, You knew the condition based on if you see again, you know, the PPM washing process discovery.

Also, disability was introduced off a document and related, like I said at the very beginning, most of the big deal because they are expensive. It gets tough.

Yeah.

If you see all the steps, this is study, assessment and optimization The time it takes to build the speculators disability access and optimize fixed forever, so many companies and helping you quickly. But the VFB 90, especially, you know, acting in all of that is an ivory tower. And bismuth tactics and you guys are very closely but expensive, and sometimes it is a nightmare.

What process? If it does that as a concept.

This way. And if you see here, the right. It's no longer So, it's not, although, sometimes the. GAO audit, which is given.

So, if you see BPM opt out in nature because we have this particular capability that we, what processes?

He said, no, that's all phenomena. But this is that, yeah, you better go. Yeah.

That's our electoral process, finding the right. Partners might be a, I should it be.

In my view as an IPA, process ..., because once you understand your processes, I don't think anybody, any questions or just you live in them, not nothing assets.

So it just helps us build it.

So once you understand the good life, basically output if this with my SLS as those, and how does it up, where you then optimize it?

And then the beauty of process mining.

Yes, actually, went to document business process.

So you can take this business process of the ... variable and then push it back to Europe BPM.

Now, it updated, you know, obviously afterwards.

By the way, when you feel you're comfortable that this is the best process, you can export this process.

So now, in your process, it becomes much more real.

And then you write this process back to your VPN back the of April.

You'll now have a group digital twin that is much more real time. And then you make strategic transformation roadmap.

Screenshot (29)-2Then you want to do some automation cycle that I've seen an automation and they give. You know, there are many examples of the automation can be applied to find that permission is cross discipline.

But what is bang for the buck via price aspects.

Add this line of business of that capability as best he could, best superiority.

But I think the capability we can see across the enterprise, which gets back for that particular nature of historical data. But now we can say here it makes sense for us to invest in this line of business. Spin up a new business model. So this is how this might change. And make an observation much, much in nature.

This is something that we are doing it, but it's an evolution.

So, now, now that we have, back to the, uh, we'll put it up with the VISTA thing, out of people, robbert ..., remember, you know, everything you've seen here, this is all.

yeah, nothing different. Vietnam is terrific.

I process, yeah, and, you know, the big gap that I see, we have already seen, this expression, was a big gap by this particular execution.

You now have a much better way of planning with a focus company, Deliberately maps language change, which is what we can oversee strategy to execution, and then, effectively monetize the data. So data, processes, you have been much more, you can say, why my tapes are as a second date in this particular, this one.

So by looking at it, you know, let's say you're building a new vendor, traditionally what we would have done that has grown up, then people would analyze that.

And I can say this, because when you now know, why your process, you know, what your AP, instead of waiting for 30 days of death with a disturbing, maybe you can say we have it.

Step is to add really quickly. So the high to enable that, if you look at the beta benefited by redefining the foot radius, it will probably take this and then apply automation to make the automation is on the books.

So now, when you have a lot of football programs, graduated picking a musician, I call this ..., I can quickly out this to me, what we are doing this, but improving the customer experience. Customer experience is not stopping my opinion, just finishing up with just giving one. I'm a customer experience, customer experiences, I can use the discovery, and we put that, I think, is the picture of when the dates, PDFs becomes not stop.

So, with that, I'd like to say thank you to all of your audience, and happy to take questions.

Excellent. Damage to our I'm gonna. I'm gonna ask you to click the Stop Sharing your Presentation button so that you and I can be a little bit bigger on the screen.

Very, very good. So far for our global participants. This is your time. Post your questions I'm gonna keep an eye on the questions that you have for Ramesh OR. What do you want to know about Digital Twins? What do you want to know about Enterprise architecture, digital transformation that is most applicable to your context? So don't be shy whether you're a novice or or or an expert ask the questions, the add, the most value to your context.

I always start by first of all fascinating veal and review of the elements of this, this this friction that exists between the real process and the, and technology. To a large extent, because it's the, it's the catch 22, you know, do you start with technology?

Do you start with process, and I think you've done on it, and that's the job covering the steps for elimination reduction and simplification before jumping into automation. So, I'm going to, one of the questions that emerge as you were speaking, is the, the hype versus reality, right, when it comes to technologist. You're dealing with a lot of technologies in your role.

Copy of Email Graphic Virtual Conferences (3)What are you finding to be most useful right now and what do you think, what do you think is most hyped right now? And it's not really delivering practical value at this point.

That's the reality.

So I've actually move from even though even years but a passionate to meet us.

I'm going to talk about mission for a reason.

The more I document, no aspect of it!

What basically is you know nothing! Nothing. that industry has a lot of what?

So F, T, Many customers.

this is many of the update, whatever it is that I'm not how to be absolutely. Literally not used as an ETF. To me as an opposite.

Nothing crop but there are those to do that. So I move it out of the paper.

It does mean lab.

So, you know the problem of the automation industry, a good example in a little.

Excuse me.

People will ignore data.

I can't imagine.

You can ignore data. You can say, OK, I want to make it happen within my data.

What does the data so that we can extract data, OK? But it's up.

At what point does it there?

It might be. It might also look at that aspect of it. the process, actually assessment, process.

Before that actually the process don't need to be automated. They could just be retrofitted in other systems.

This does not mean, no, kidding, this is not a big spread.

So, basically, I didn't know patch tofu lights up.

We started automation and then the quality of our mission.

And the product is the mission and our mission and that's why the word I promise management has been effective at this opaque, located. At the Base on Vendor said, you didn't have to buy the book. Though, and that's somebody Fix something.

Without english speaking here, this tools, people, just getting classmates.

What, I can do this, you know, the management gets over 100% something may not been. Yeah, I mean, AI enabled us of the work.

I really we've had a if it's 19 fifties scripted.

Yeah, These updates that we have to activate a list, OK, stay in that sense, making its way back to the cloud. It's become affordable, go off on a lethal What do you need a business model?

Which technology? That? My business model, You know, make a customer. happy.

If I can make, like, a good example of, you know, I act, I get it back, It took me three minutes to 50 minutes, I don't care if I can get my experience and my two minutes, OK, So, it's an experience that I think versus the technology, but, unfortunately.

And, they paid for such a high order, and if you're not.

Yeah, yeah.

So, if after Attack from the beach.

Excellent.

Ramesh Voir, I mean, we can talk about that topic for a long, long time because, as you know, you're you're familiar with the industry, You know, the overwhelming majority know lots of different reports from very reputable consulting organizations that put it anywhere between 70 to 90% of digital transformations fail. And the one of the reasons for that is because we're automating things that don't need to be automated, and in the end, we're calling that digital transformation. So this, this is a great point. Technologies are wonderful thing. If it enables the right processes to create value, but also to acknowledge can make stupid happened at the speed of light, and you don't want that. And that's all right. Let's forget about my my deals, let's. That's all right, Let's get on to some of the our global audience questions, here, and we have a number of them. I don't want to get to as many as possible, so that, you know, there's someone who mention, and this is just, I know there's a little bit of an echo on your microphone, and I don't know it's because you're far away.

But if you can get a little bit closer, I think, maybe a little bit helpful.

But yeah, yeah, yeah, I think so. I think that's better. Martinez has a question here. She writes an excellent presentation. What would you say to an IT professional who is resisting to implementing process mining?

So that's an interesting question. Very specific Johor Contacts.

Clearly, she's in a context where she is perhaps exploring process mining, but the IT professional, she's working with its actual resistance, two, to implementing process mining. So maybe you can go further than that. You know, maybe the pros and cons of implementing process mining. When is a good idea when it's a bad idea to do that?

Excellent question. I was thinking that way. It was. I mean, I think, yeah, that's it. So I know, basically what I get, every company is different.

You know, me, as a block, many of us, in Iowa, unless you take the responsibility of data and if we don't even understand, the moment, you take anybody that has the same.

When you educate, sometimes, you know, everybody has different priorities They may not understand.

Part of it should be innovation.

Process doesn't take much time. You know, these days, I wouldn't even know everything.

It goes from ..., I took it. And not enough products, because E is one of the follow up, process mining.

It doesn't take much time, just sign up for a free version of any of the vendors.

Build it, show it to people automatically.

There's a lot of difference.

You know, this same picture speaks a thousand words when you feel it because, if you're BPM, oh, you know, what, ... takes time, and so I can know if any people focused on. Cost plus ticket that it can take months and months, but it's still, but not. so much a field.

Screenshot (4)They can install that on your lap belt of baggage showing a classic example as a cache.

It takes time, Joe. Will the people at the table, when you showed something, like I said, a lot.

No. But, you must be very healthy and your money.

Not to say, but I think we go to the doctor doesn't realize, gosh, Now I need to pick it up. So, that's filled the safety.

Show that you have to show that your costs are locking you then everybody will jump up. So, that's my recommendation. that, that's how. I know.

I've talked to show the value of permission, But literally, once we show it to you, I just would activate, instead of being an IT. I became an IT guy. So, that's my community.

Excellent! Excellent innovation and value creation are inextricably linked and the, and that's important so that people understand that and they know how to implement ideas that create value, and then they can get the support that they need. Another question here, this one comes from Jan Rhythm Bargh, and Jen asks: Can you give X show examples of leading or lagging indicators and that your digital twins managed to achieve? So, in the work that you have done within the digital twins, what were some leading and lagging indicators that you may have come across through that work?

Actually done some of those working on that last night, it's gonna be dated.

That's like A great question Leading and lagging If an activity that's not going to make, and what are the leading and lagging indicators?

So, take the example of the traditional lady like, You know, that's on a monthly basis The problem is it's an authentic and leading indicator If not, just showing you how your training worth.

Yar Problem between the leading and lagging guess like I said, is the real-time.

When you build this discipline, and maybe I take it offline because they don't like when you have this discipline, actually, you can do this effectively because faculty.

So, you can now, when you show your leading indicators indicator telling you.

So, When you can basically, say, you know, I think the best example Bay, but I couldn't go to professional video, that process, but, you know, it was tough for whatever reason, and indicate what's going to happen.

This is something that the Process planning candidate, What you do is you pick an action, you'll note that previous, because it's literally your bot bucket, lock them.

So, by taking an actual money waiting indicator, you're lagging indicators can be effective, Meaning, you're not an indicator that you're safe, nothing to me.

Now, by looking into a little bit different, when, you know, your process, where exactly to stop, you can take 10 minutes, and then you can have a better than when you're likely to get. And then it becomes much more.

And when you're lagging indicator, because you know what it means.

So, when the leading indicator and actually change lightning, I can take it off financially, Agnes and my brother, that's like a nice way to fill out the work.

... leading indicators, I could give you and your vision.

Outstanding. Outstanding. Hey, we have like NaN, and I want to get one more question. And from this one coming from William Rice and William eyes are arises asking, what are your thoughts about applying the concept of digital twins to people like customers, patients, and, you know, has the wave thoughts on applying digital twins to people, and maybe the customer?

So, uh, they're all about, right?

I have said, all of this shouldn't mean an expedient but we can't just stop consuming. the most of the most exact work.

I don't care if there's not much no.

It has to deliver expedients.

We are talking of a discipline to improve my experience.

If you have seen, you haven't seen the pathos of ISS space-x up next on October, no.

This is what I call. It makes us see 5 or 6 other astronauts.

Big books and other suspicious anything goes wrong, pages with the ..., it's basic.

Let's talk a little bit, like, what is this?

All? they're doing this?

This is experience, both the chronically distressed with a lot of Expedia has to be back, if it cannot provide a seamless experience anywhere, it doesn't matter what.

So disturbing me build your experiences for the customer.

That's what I view. It doesn't matter what you're going to give us the kid. And if he's happy with it, that's an experienced.

Ramesh, why?

Thank you so much for sharing your expertise and knowledge with our global audience today. We really appreciate your taking the time to be to be here with us.

Sure, better and phenomenal outside speakers.

Thank you Ladies and gentlemen, that's Ramesh who are banana good and the real pleasure to have him with us. So our next session Will include, will be, with Srinivasan ..., who is the Senior Vice President and Chief Enterprise Architect with fifth third Bank. And we are going to meet you at the top of the hour to go over his presentation that will focus on low code and no code applications, and an emerging trends in application development. So, you do not want to miss that. I will see you at the top of the hour. Thank you.
