We are proud to announce one of our keynotes at Business Transformation & Operational Excellence World Summit & Industry Awards (BTOES19) is Richard Bowden, Head of Process and Change Management at Santander Bank.
More About Richard
Richard began his journey into Process Improvement early in his 20-year banking career. After implementing many traditional process enhancements in National Australia Group, Richard's exposure to Lean & Six Sigma began when he moved to Barclays as Head of Service, in the early 'Noughties'.
After training as a Black Belt and transforming the high net worth on-boarding process, his passion for continuous improvement was well set.
Over the past 5 years, as Head of Process & Change in the Santander Corporate Bank, Richard has led a drive to transform the capability and approach to process excellence in the Operations of the Bank. Through many lean sigma implementations and training of key leaders, Santander leads the customer services tables for UK Corporate Banking.
Now, with the 2025 strategy set by the CEO as that of being a fully digital bank, Richard is working with the technology teams to implement RPA and BPM led solutions to enhance the efficiency of the front to back customer offering.
