About the Author
Sherryl Schown has more than 18 years of IT experience in all areas of information technology process and project management, coaching, mentoring, storage, networking, hardware, software and desktop support. She has worked for several industry leading companies in healthcare, public sector (Federal, State and City/County) and consulting/contracting services as a Business Analyst Team Leader, Project Manager, Product Owner and currently a Governance and Process Manager.
Currently, she is the Enterprise PMO Governance and Process Manager for Envision Healthcare, where she manages project, program and portfolio governance and process improvements. In this role, she is responsible for leading and ensuring compliance with reporting, standardization and project framework. This includes coaching and mentoring project managers and facilitating training sessions on managing projects and bringing them back into alignment.
