As one of America’s largest essential health care systems, Eskenazi Health provides treatment and services to nearly 1 million outpatient visitors every year.  Eskenazi Health provides a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services at a 315-bed hospital, outpatient facilities both on and off the Eskenazi Health downtown campus as well as 10 Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis. The Eskenazi Health system is home to a Level I trauma center, verified adult burn center, community mental health center and the Eskenazi Health Center Primary Care – Center of Excellence in Women’s Health amongst other notable programs.

Our poster presentation outlines key elements that have helped our health system’s Continuous Improvement efforts be successful.  The poster captures work involved in prepping for an effort, execution of an effort and work required to sustain and support an effort after the work is complete.  Eskenazi’s Director of Operational Excellence and Strategy will be present to share lessons learned and answer any questions.
