Etech’s Matt Rocco, President and CEO, states, “In my 35 years in contact center management, I have seen a variety of leadership styles. What is important about leadership styles is that it sets the tone for the way a business operates. While I have participated in a variety of leadership styles over the years (autocratic, participative, democratic, etc.), I truly believe that servant leadership enables employees to feel empowered, included and valued; it is the foundation to a culture that fosters all people to reach above and beyond anything they think possible. When this happens, everyone benefits – the company and its people, the customers, the stakeholders, and the communities.”

Matt is the definition of a true servant leader. He believes a successful leader is often defined as a person who meets goals and accomplishes assigned tasks. Matt has developed Etech’s management team around the company’s Twelve Character commitments which Etech lives by: Courage, Creativity, Communication, Humility, Integrity, Positive Influence, Accountability, Adaptability, Teamwork, Teachability, Vision, and Valuing People. It is his ideologies and principles that have enabled Etech to reach where we are today.

 

Matt Rocco’s style of servant leadership echoes through the culture of Etech and creates a unique feeling of family that is rare to find inside such a large corporation. This extends not only to his leaders, but to their agents, and the communities Etech is honored to serve. In 2017, Etech was able to invest over $118k back into communities through service projects, sponsorship, and contributions. Etech is blessed to be led by a man who has overcome so much while maintaining the poise and strength of a servant leader. Throughout his medical battle, as he has worked hard through multiple surgeries and physical therapy, his focus remained on leading Etech in the best ways possible, and we are beyond blessed to call him our President and CEO.

 

Matt has built a unique team of trusted leaders who serve the Etech team of over 3,000 employees, the communities where we operate which include five U.S locations, one in Jamaica, two in India, and of course, Etech’s customers.
